How was the enrollment process at Rasmussen? The enrollment process at Rasmussen was really easy and simple. I first applied to Rasmussen College as apart of my New Years resolution. I had some personal things going on in my life, including moving so I started the program in March. Once I applied, they gave me an application for free student financial aid. I thought this was great, because I did not know that there was a program in place to assist students when paying for college.
The next step I had to do was the placement exam. This exam is to help determine what areas we already know and what areas we can use improvement on, such as English, Mathematics and Reading. The exam was fun and it was interesting to see what I could remember from high school.
As the date for school to start was coming near, I received information on when the Student Orientation was going to take place. The great thing is that if I could not make it, it was okay because it was recorded and online for review. The student orientation was there to help answer any questions that I might have and prepare me to start school. I was very impressed with the orientation and it only took about twenty minutes of my time. Once I completed the orientation, I then received my username and password from the student coordinator to log into the Rasmussen portal.
I was very excited and could not wait to be able to log on to the student portal at Rasmussen. Once I had my login information and password, I could then order my books for class and start my student orientation course. The student orientation course was there to prepare me for what I was going to expect once my first class started. It was great! It allowed me to move around the website to become comfortable before school started.
Wow, what a blur, but the process went smoothly and it was so exciting. Ok, now I’m in the program and enjoying my first few weeks of class. Check back to see how I’m holding up in school.
