About Michelle
Michele Reed is a young woman who just turned 30 yearsMichele felt the need to start work right away to help her family, as they were struggling financially. In doing so, she never was able to attend college; however, she picked up a great work ethic, which carried her far. At the age of nineteen, Michele moved back to Florida to be closer to her extended family.
In ten years, Michele has managed to work for two large companies in managerial positions. This first company was a law firm in Orlando, Florida. Michele started in the mailroom as a clerk; through a variety of promotions was managing her own department of four within seven years. She wanted to experience new challenges decided to move on.
Michele is now a Finance Director for a large Honda dealership located in Orlando. Michele started with the dealership back in 2003 with no experience. After a month of training, they placed her at a dealership that best fit her personality, the personality of a strong, energetic and eager individual. Michele did very well with this new position. As management noticed her eagerness to learn and take charge, she was offered the director’s position and this after only two years into her new job. This type of promotion was unheard of for only being in the car business for two years.
Michele was excited and ready to take on the new challenges. A year and a half later, she has come to realize she is changing and what seem to motivate her back then does not seem to matter now.
Michele, since, has decided to go to college for the first time. She knows there is more to life then working the long ‘dealership’ hours. She knows there is more challenges out there for her.
By going back to school, she will be able to have more job opportunities in the fields that interest her; she will be a better inspiration for her family one day; she will have an internal satisfaction for being able to follow-through on a life long dream of hers- getting her degree.
