Borat causes huge interest in Kazakhstan hotels-
Travel firm Hotels.com has experienced a 300% rise in Kazakhstan Hotel searches amongst travellers keen to experience Borat’s home country.
Hotels.com portfolio of Kazakhstan hotels currently includes the Hyatt Regency Almaty, Best Eastern Otrar, Almaty, Premier Alatau Hotel, and the Best Eastern Ambassador Almaty.
However, the company said this number is set to increase following the surge of interest in Kazakh hotels.
Alison Couper, director of communications at Hotels.com said: “Following the surge of Kazakhstan hotel searches on Hotels.com since the film was released; we are looking to expanding our Kazakh hotel portfolio and expect bookings to increase considerably.”
Interesting that there is not an action figure of this guy yet. Well Madonna loves him so I guess that is just as good.
