.Net Developer Needed for Student Portal Enhancements

Our Marketing Department is making some enhancements to our Student Portal and is looking for a .net developer to assist on a contract basis.

This is a set of small projects to be accomplished using ASP.Net (VB.Net) (.Net 2.0 Framework) and SQL Server 2005.

Planned projects include:

• New CSS development for cosmetic enhancement
• Customization of existing discussion forum
• Implementation of homegrown blogware platform
• Design and implementation of other possible social media tools (e.g. SMS)
• Other tasks to be defined

Please note that you will be working closely with both Project Manager and architects of current employee portal.

This is a large project will be accomplished using ASP.Net (VB.Net) (.Net 2.0 Framework) and SQL Server 2005.

Planned redesign tasks include:

• CSS development for site redesign
• Home Page and inner page creation and implementation
• Creation of a customized employee profile
• Customization of homegrown blogware platform
• Design and implementation of discussion forum
• Design and implementation of other possible social media tools (e.g. SMS)
